Albert FR will not help anymore :(
Younes, this is terrible news. I'm so sorry to hear about this. I had a wonderful call with Albert back at the end of April, and we were discussing ways we could work together even more closely. He was indeed an active member of this community…

Problems installing Booktype1.6.1 on Debian 7 and Ubuntu 14.04
Hi, Seeing as it's late on Friday night, I don't know if the Booktype team will see this over the weekend. But I'll make sure they get to it the first thing Monday. Best regards, douglas On Fri, Jan 9, 2015 at 11:28 PM, Graabei…

Read audio files from another server
If it's on a LAN you might want to consider either SMB or NFS mounts. It can get tricky with remote servers, though, as IP addresses get reassigned, connections break. Personally I've had intermittent success with NFS. Your mileage may var…

MIXXX and a Mic on Button

Hey! 500$ for Airtime module (plugin) for DTMF control
DTMF audible signals are also used by broadcasters for proof-of-broadcast purposes, especially because they can be used in connection with a time stamp. This is a very useful feature; the only question is how it can be best implemented. As Albert …

Hi Olaf, 2TB of material uploaded to any server will be rather expensive, no matter which service you're using. In this case you would probably be better off using a local Airtime install on hardware that is in your facility (including your 2TB…

Wrong show name is displayed
Hi Dustin, I just checked out your site and it sounds good at least :-) One thing you might want to check is the time zone your server is in; is your Airtime admin interface displaying the correct time? That might be one thing to look at. -- doug

Can I limit the song duration?
Another workaround that you might consider would be to edit the song (or songs) to 2:00 using a sound editor like Audacity and then upload it to Airtime. Hope this helps, doug
